Sincerity alone does not guarantee spiritual clarity. Like the Apostle Paul before his dramatic encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, it is possible to be deeply committed to faith while still being spiritually blind. Pride, unforgiveness, resistance to correction, and a lack of compassion are all signs that our vision may be clouded. The good news is that God is faithful to restore sight to those who humbly ask. Just as scales fell from Paul's eyes after Ananias prayed over him, God can remove whatever is blocking our view of His truth. The key is a willingness to pray honestly, submit to correction, and respond when He reveals what needs to change.
